Non-Profit Status IRS Paperwork is in the mail!

To be an official non-profit organization the IRS must be satisfied that the organization is indeed, non profit.  In order to do this the organization must fill out a 26 page form, that has a 38 page instruction packet.  Bylaws need to be copied, and a host of other requirements must be verified.  Legal and accounting jargon was hard to understand, but with the help of a few friends, and the work of board, the paperwork was finished, and today, accompanied by a check, the packet was mailed to the IRS.  We should hear back in a few months. We will let you know when we are officially Non-Profit.
