February's Meeting will be Thursday, Feb 16 at 6 pm at the HEC center room E. I know this is the third change of date, but do you know how hard it is to find a date everyone can make? Hopefully more will be able to attend.

Did you know about the new license requirement for 6 hrs suicide prevention that has to be taken before 30 June?  There is a class sponsored by the Whatcom Medical Society that meets this requirement. I am enclosing the registration announcement.

This one-day, six-hour workshop fulfills the Washington state requirement that all physicians and allied health professionals receive a one-time training in suicide risk assessment, treatment, and management. The workshop uses lecture, video-based educational tools, and writing exercises to address approaches, formulation, and clinical responses to suicide risk. Approved for 6 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™
