  • Never stop learning, you don't know it all, keep the patient the focus
  • Time and gravity wait for no one, listening and looking at the patient is essential, humor is essential
  • Multitasking is a skill

  • ARNP United has made a difference to our practice and deserves our support
  • Stories are part of healthcare, integrate different attitudes into healthcare.
  • Nursing is a wonderful profession, don't be afraid to try something different
  • Being a pioneer is overrated, laugh at yourself
  • “Leap and the net will appear", believe in patient's ability to change, ask if you've met their needs
  • Be open to learning
  • Have fun at work, look back and see what you've done
  • It’s a learning experience, humor helps you though tough times, like the people you work with
  • Listen to you patients, involve patients in the plan
  • Undress your patients, look for the real problem
  • Get to know your coworkers well, care about the front desk people
  • Remember to take care of yourself,
  • Trust your instincts, staying in touch, listen and educate your patients
  • If it keeps you up at night, move on
  • Time gets by so fast, don't forget to support each other
