Message: Hello. I am a family nurse practitioner currently working with the University of Washington Center for Human Development and Disability and Seattle Children's Hospital to conduct a needs assessment of primary care providers in WA state caring for young adults with ASD and other developmental disabilities. The goal is to determine the needs the healthcare providers related to transition services and caring for young adults as they move to an adult healthcare setting. We have an online survey that will take about 5 minutes to complete. I would like to ask your members to complete a brief online survey. It is important that the opinions of NPs are included in this needs assessment. It also important to capture the needs of health care providers practicing in the more rural areas of the state. Would it be possible to send a link to the survey to your members? I would be happy to send more information about the survey and its goals. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Alise Owens, ARNP
