Overview
Motivational interviewing (MI) is a technique to help engage patients and increase accountability for their own health. Motivating patients to improve their own healthcare improves engagement and increases the likelihood of improving their health status. After introducing the technique, participants will practice techniques to increase comfort and efficacy with MI.
